Mark Koziel
President & CEO
Mark Koziel became President and CEO of Allinial Global in August 2020 after 14 years with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In addition to leading a team of twenty-nine staff members, he is responsible for strategic planning, financial performance, and the association’s overall growth and success. Allinial Global is the 2nd largest global association with over 235 member firms and $4.2B in revenues represented.
At AICPA, Mark led the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS), Firm Relationship Management, Small Firms, Diversity & Inclusion, Young Member Initiatives, Technical Hotline and Center for Plain English Accounting.
Prior to joining the AICPA, Mark served three years as Director of Media Planning for a political consulting firm after finishing his twelve-year public accounting career in a variety of accounting, auditing and consulting roles at a large local accounting firm in Buffalo, NY.
Mark was named in the top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting by Accounting Today since 2008. Mark has also been named as one of CPA Practice Advisors' 25 Thought Leaders since 2012.
Mark graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Canisius College in 1991. He holds the CPA in NC and is a CGMA.
